Which School Should I Enrol My Child In? Address-Based Registration in Antalya
Registration in state primary and middle schools is based on the residence address. So when choosing a school, the address record is the first deciding factor.

Short answer: In state primary and middle schools, registration is made automatically according to the residence address; the Address-Based Population Registration System (ADNKS) data is the basis for placement. You can find out which school your child will attend from the address-based registration lookup screen on e-Devlet.
Step by step
- Update your address. If you have moved, first make an address declaration. For details, see our article change of address.
- Follow the registration period. Registrations for kindergarten, primary school grade 1 and middle school grade 5 usually start in the summer months; the calendar is published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB). For the 2026–2027 term, the start of classes has been announced as 14 September 2026.
- Look up the result. The lookup screen on e-Devlet, the e-Okul Parent Information System or the school principal's office.
- Go to the school. Complete the required documents using the list the school announces.
Registration of students placed in high school is done automatically through the system.

When choosing a school
- Distance between home and school, travel time and safety.
