How to Open an Electricity Subscription via e-Devlet: Required Documents

An electricity subscription requires ID, the title deed or rental contract, a DASK policy and installation details. The application can be made through the distribution company's channels or e-Devlet.

Short answer: An electricity subscription is opened by applying to your area's electricity distribution company (in Antalya, Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım; confirm current information with EPDK) and submitting the required documents. Some procedures can also be done through e-Devlet or the company's digital channels; confirm at the time of application which services are open.

Required documents

For the owner:

  • ID document
  • Title deed or ownership document
  • Installation (meter) number; an old bill is enough

For the tenant:

  • ID document
  • Rental contract
  • The landlord's name, surname and Turkish ID number
  • A DASK policy
  • Bank IBAN details (for the refund of the deposit)

Security deposit

When the subscription is opened, a security deposit is paid according to the tariff; this amount is refunded when the subscription ends. Current amounts are published in the distribution company's tariff.
